So, I'm definitely on the mend. Things are getting better. Kate Pride is back, which makes things all better! And I just love all my friends... particularly senan, mike, alina, kate, marina, jessica, juliet etc...

I've had a lovely vacation. I hate that it has to end. Wednesday, April 20th was absolutely amazing. 4/20. word.

I did a few other interesting things this week, mainly hanging out with the homies, which was good. I really needed a break from the routine of school, etc.

I went to upstate New York this weekend which was surprisingly a very interesting time. I saw my great uncles art studio, hung out in Saratoga (which is by the way a really cool town, a lot of art galleries, vintage clothing stores, old record stores, comic book stores, and a lot of places to eat), went on a farm and fed pigs, hung out with my extended family, and ate a lot.

Not going to probably finish one of them this vacation. I'm THAT bad. Hopefully I'm going to meet up with a few folks later on tonight and chillax.

I'm just sorta chillin. Very pleased with the weather lately, except now of course its freezing out :( I think the nice weather has just sortof put everyone in better moods, everyone just feels like being nice and friendly. Including myself. I'm very excited for vacation and to just spend time with people. If you want to hang out, I'll be glad to hang out with you. I am not doing a whole lot except hanging out with my friends, and getting some ass (not!, seeing as I am successfully on an asexual streak). Speaking of ass, on Friday, me, senan and possibly gabe are going to the WINSOR HOEDOWN. I am very excited about this you see. It shall be a grand time, and a grand way to start off the vacation. I am thinking about attending Converge : / we'll see. Also, another show that I'm pretty excited about is Q and Not U on the 29th at the ICC. You all should come. Right now, I am completely procrastinating about doing my homework. We have a late start tomorrow which I'm pretty pleased with. I have a few pictures to ( sum up my life recently )

so this week passed by pretty fast, and i'm happy its saturday. yesterday i chilled with blair and alina, we got bubble tea and pad thai, possibly the best combination EVERRR. then we split off cos alina and i needed to go home... i went to gap then and found some really cool stuff which surprised me considering its GAP. and then i bought some shoes, i'm so addicted to shoes, its ridiculous.

then a bunch of us met up and went to Habfest. It was fun mostly because of the people there, i got to chill with a lot of cool people.

I have nothing really cool to tell unfortunately. except that at Habfest some guy pretended to faint and then as the police came to get him or whatever he screamed out, "APRIL FOOLS". pretty amusing.

Anyways, I just had to speak Spanish to my cleaning Lady, Ana. It's really interesting because it's so much easier to communicate with her in Spanish. I mean I probably know a little bit more Spanish than she speaks English. But it just made her so happy to hear me speak Spanish, I'm going to try to do it more often. It was really cool to talk to her and not have her seem completely lost, and just smiling. She's so sweet, and it makes me so mad because I can tell she's a really smart woman, yet because she lives in the U.S., she has to clean houses for a living. Ohhhh I hate this system. But I honestly feel completely unable to do anything. And I know that sounds ignorant, and completely PC liberal, like I want all this stuff to change, but I don't do anything about it. But how do you change what this country is basically built on, class system, and discrimination against non-English speakers/foreigners.

ok so i'm having a bit of dilemma and i need your help.
on may 20 there are going to be two shows that i want to see:

Deerhoof

+ cheaper, only $9

+ close, in Cambridge, easy to get to

- i've already seen them

- i don't know the other two bands

Bright Eyes with the Faint

+ i've never seen either of them, and love love love both.

- its in Providence

- its 23.50

i think i'll probably end up going to the Bright Eyes/the Faint show if i can get a ride. just cos it seems like an amazing show... if you wanna go to this show... we can figure out how to get there TOGETHER.

my long weekend started out pretty amazingly and ended pretty alright. thursday, i chilled with a bunch of amazing people, and when i say a bunch i mean a bunch, and when i say a bunch of amazing people i mean a bunch of amazing CRUNK people. it was altogether an amazing, crunk nite. we wandered around drinking various forms of alcohol and visiting various forms of places, from cypress playground, marinas house, annas tacqueria, to one of my favorite places in the world, summitt hill- the top where you look out and see the whole city lit up. its so beautiful. then me and marina slept over at jessicas house and had a lovely drunken time watching havana nights, and we all got very horny looking at diego luna (he is a friggin hottie). then on friday, i went over to senans house and watched my neighbor totoro with gabe and senan which is officially one of my favorite movies. im just so in love with miyazaki... i have so many more of his films to watch. then me and senan went to my house to get picked up by mike to go to the UU show in wellesley. i was exhausted, but i had fun and met a lot of cool people. by the end of the night i was being a bitch cos i felt like shit. but the van ride home was pretty amusing. im still laughing about the four boys in the back all coming out... then on saturday i did practically nothing except color eggs with my dad, his gf, and his gfs son. it was pretty fun. i wouldve rather gone to mikes house and watch goodburger but whatever. then today was easter and my family came to my house. it was pretty alright. i still have a sore throat that came out of nowhere. well heres a few pictures to ( sum up my weekend. )
